Abide in Me E-pattern

Inspired by Verses 4-5 from the Gospel of John, Chapter 15.  “Abide in Me” features a soft color palette and beautiful religious and floral motifs.  Finished cushions are edged with silk sari ribbon.  Stitched on 36 count R&R Reproductions “Liberty Gathering Grey” linen.  The design on the left was stitched over 2 threads.  The design on the right was stitched over 1, but can be stitched over 2 for a larger finish

All threads are DMC except for the ivory which is vintage silk Seda Filoflosse.  Stitches include cross stitch and French knots.

Stitch counts: 61w x 69h (left) & 73w x 73h (right)

Stitched sizes: 3.5”w x 3.75”h (left) & 2”w x 2”h (right as shown) or 4”w x 4”h if worked over 2 linen threads
