Susanna Pratt

Susanna Pratt was born in Graffham, Huntingdonshire, England in 1834.  Her lovely sampler features butterflies, birds, dogs, potted flowers, a towering fruit basket, diamond and floral bands, an arcaded honeysuckle border, and a religious verse. Worked in beautiful threads by The Gentle Art on 30 count Weeks Dye Works Beige linen.  Stitches include cross, satin, and back stitch.
