Fancey Blackett Brooms

This folky design features the good Miss Blackett taking one of her handmade brooms for a ride.  Love the little fellow hanging on for dear life behind her!  Other motifs include tall stalks of broom corn, a row of finished brooms, a jovial cauldron, cats, an owl, a sliver of moon and pinwheel stars.  Stitched on 30 count Weeks Dye Works Beige linen with DMC flosses.  

Stitches include cross, straight, back, and Algerian eyelet.
