- Product Code: FI-2VAL
- Availability: 1
Pair of sweet, vintage valentines dating to the 1920s.
The darling little girl taking a heart out of her purse has a crease across her face, but the valentine is in sturdy condition. In other words, the crease does not cause the top of the valentine to flop. "TO MY LOVE" is printed on her coat collar. On the back is the message, "To Gladys, From W. Pfeiffer, Feb. 13 1920". Printed on good cardstock, not like paper valentines of today. Measures 5.25" tall.
The fold-out card features sweet graphics including a boy holding sheet music for "Love Song" while a couple dances on the inside of the card. The card opens like a book and the front bottom half folds out. The verse reads:
"When Music, with its magic spell
Makes hearts light as a feather,
If you will be my Valentine
We'll dance thro' life together."
This card, which is printed on cardstock paper, has no writing on it and measures 5"h x 3.75"w closed.
Both have light soiling consistent with age but are in quite good condition.
Price includes free shipping within the U.S.! International buyers - please inquire about shipping options prior to purchase.
