Reminiscent of redwork marking samplers from the late 19th century, this simple, hemmed piece would look very merry tacked to a cupboard door or laid across an early breadboard with some fresh greens. Stitched with Weeks Dye Works “Red Rocks” floss on their 30 count “Linen”, which I’ve aged with walnut ink. Stitch count: 146w x 65h. Finished size: 10”w x 4.5”h.
Pattern includes color photo, professional cross stitch chart with floss colors for WDW and DMC, optional aging instructions, and directions hemming your sampler.
