Elizabeth Hammond’s Christmas sampler pillow features three fine old reindeer motifs, a Christmas star, the initials EH, “xmas” and the year 1862. Stitched with one thread in shades of old red and chestnut on aged prairie cloth. Sampler is hand stitched to a sawdust stuffed pillow and has a rusty bell stitched to each corner to sound a little Christmas cheer. Stitch count: 73w x 51h (4” x 6”); finished pillow size: 6.5”h x 8”w.
