Tucked away in a corner of the best room’s cupboard was a small fabric covered box… Nestled inside were six tiny stitcheries bearing motifs of some of Mrs. Toombs’ favourite things: her hat, a star, a crow, a cat, the year of her birth – 1792, and her beloved sewing scissors. The largest stitchery, the hat, measures a wee 2.25”h x 1.25”w.
Included in the pattern for Mrs. Toombs’ Treasures are color photos, professional cross stitch chart with floss colors, aging instructions, and directions for making the ornaments as well as this fabric covered box.
