This nice, large sampler combines a traditional alphabet, an old friendship verse and wonderful flower and friend motifs. The whole thing has a folky flare. The verse reads, “Remember well and bear in mind, a faithful friend is hard to find.” The initials of two dear friends are stitched beneath each basket of flowers. Done in nice, muted colors of pewter, brown, charcoal, and pale forget-me-not blue. Original stitched on 32 count linen over one and two threads (verse, initials, & one of the horizontal bands are over one).
Stitch count is 188h x 112w (11.75”h x 7”w on 32 count linen). Chart is printed in large format so you can easily follow the over one stitches (e-pattern chart prints on four 8.5” x 11” pages).
Pattern includes color photo, professional cross stitch chart with floss colors, and optional aging instructions.
